We try to anticipate questions you might have about our Product / Service and provide the answers here. If you need additional information send an email or call anytime at 513-607-1511.
1. What are your hours?
We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In fact, we’re open on holidays including Thanksgiving and Christmas. At Queen City Coin Laundry, “We Never Close!”
2. What makes Queen City different from any other laundromat?
We believe in doing things quite a bit different than most businesses. We’re locally owned and operated, and we believe that our State of the art machines, and facilities are different than most laundromats. Additionally we provide top notch 24 hr customer service. Stop by today and see the “Queen City Difference”
3. How long does it take to do my laundry?
Our brand new, state of the art equipment works like no other machines out there. Most wash cycles take around 25 minutes, and dryer times around 30 minutes. This saves you time and money, aside from folding time, you’ll be finished in under an hour!
4. Do you offer a wash, dry, fold service?
No, we do not. We believe that too many businesses try to be all things to all people. We believe that we’re really good at being the best in the Self Service Laundry business and we spend all of our time and effort on our customers.
5. Where are your locations?
We have two locations on opposite ends of Clermont County, OH. One in Amelia,OH (3,000 sq ft) at the corner of Ohio Pike and St. Rte 132. We also have a location in Milford,OH (2,000 sq ft) on Old Ohio 28 just off Interstate I-275.
6. Are your laundromats clean?
At Queen City we pride ourselves on being the cleanest laundromats in Cincinnati,OH. Our Attendants spend 8 hours everyday cleaning our stores, to keep them sparkling clean.
7. Is this a national chain or franchise?
No, Queen City Coin Laundry is locally owned and operated by a family right here in Clermont County,OH.
8. Which washer size should I use to wash my clothes?
It depends on the actual size of your load. Selecting the right washer is as simple as trying it on for size. If you put the load into the washer and you find yourself having trouble closing the door, then you probably should move up to the next size machine. On the other hand, our front load washers actually work better when they are more than half full. In fact, you can fill the washer nearly completely full, just don’t stuff it tight. Leave a little room for water and agitation!
For Dryers, usually about half full is recommended. The two main ingredients for drying clothes are Heat and Air. It’s common for laundromats to lower their thermostat on their dryers to save money. We don’t lower our temperatures, we want you to have the best experience possible so you’ll come back and see us again
9. Is there anything to entertain us while we’re waiting on our laundry?
Yes, both locations have Flat Panel TV’s, FREE Wi-Fi, and in store Vending Machines :) Our Amelia location also has 2 Internet Stations with High Speed DSL Service for you to rent.
10. How many washers and dryers do you have?
Our Amelia, OH location offers 44 washers and 43 dryers. Our Milford, OH location offers 37 washers and 28 dryers. Both locations offer the Largest Capacity Washers and Dryers in all of Clermont County!!
11. Are your laundromats attended?
Both locations are partially attended by the friendliest attendants in Cincinnati. We believe in not only investing in high quality equipment, but also investing in high quality people. Our attendants are highly trained, and ready to help you anytime they’re on duty.
12. How big are your largest machines?
Both stores offer the MEGALoaders. These machines can wash 6 loads of laundry at one time and we are the ONLY laundromats in Clermont County with this size machine. Both locations also offer SUPERLoad Dryers as well! Large machines save you time and money so we offer tons of large machines to accomodate all your needs.
13. Do you sell soap, fabric softner and laundry bags in store?
Yes we do! We have Tide, Bounce, Gain, Liquid Clorox Bleach, Reusable Laundry bags, Clorox II, and Downey Fabric Softner available for purchase 24 hours per day.
14. Does your laundromat operate on cards or coins?
We operate on good old fashioned Quarters, with change machines available if you need them. This way, you don’t end up with money left over on some prepaid card that you can’t use anywhere else. If you have quarters left over at the end of your time, you can spend it anywhere else in the world.
